No, you do not need to book or purchase tickets. Just come along at 5.30pm and meet our friendly volunteers! The event is free.

The laser show goes for 15 minutes and starts at 6:00pm sharp. Remember - there are two different shows that play on alternating nights. To see them both, you may like to stay in Bicheno for two nights.

From time to time, we may play a "double show" which runs for 30 minutes. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for these special events.

For the best experience of Bicheno Beams, we recommend bringing:

• Warm clothes and shoes suitable for the weather conditions
• A chair or picnic rug
• A thermos of tea, coffee or hot chocolate
• Picnics are welcome

No. This is a family friendly event in a public park and alcohol is not permitted.

The good news is that if it is raining, the show will be even more spectacular as the lasers interact with the rain drops.

However, if there should be a storm or strong winds that make viewing unsafe, we will cancel the show. Keep an eye on our Facebook page if the weather looks unfavourable.

If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram you will find any last minute changes due to bad weather.

The show starts at 6:00pm on the dot - arriving early ensures you're set up and comfortable.

Bicheno Beams is held in a public park; it is outdoor and there is plenty of room for social distancing. We ask that if you or someone in your group is feeling unwell, please stay at home.

This is a night-time show in an unlit park. Our guides will be able to show viewers by torchlight to the best viewing spots. However much of the site is grass and a little uneven, so we recommend that those who need assistance advise our guides on arrival and they will direct you along the best route.

If you prefer to sit down, please bring your own chair.

There is plenty of street parking close to the Lions Park on Burgess Street and surrounding streets. Please be mindful of pedestrians.

The organising committee will cordon off two accessible parking spaces at the entry to the Bicheno Lions Park (78 Burgess St, Bicheno) for use by anyone displaying a Disabled Parking Permit in their vehicle.

There are public toilets directly across the road at the Bicheno Recreation Ground, 80 Burgess Street, Bicheno. 

There may be food and beverage vans from time to time during the show season. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram to find out if there will be any on the night you are attending. You are very welcome to bring your own food to the event and we encourage takeaway from local businesses.

No, we do not allow dogs or other pets inside the park area during Bicheno Beams. Service animals are always allowed.

No, this is a smoking and vape free event.

No, for safety reasons the play equipment is closed during the event and we ask that you ensure your children do not access the equipment or climb trees during Bicheno Beams so they remain well below the laser beams.
